My husband and I are in the process of buying a bigger house with a bigger yard. I've always wanted a second dog and I've looked around for a very long time but never found anything that I just felt that "something special" for. Well I was just browsing through petfinder.com and I did find one that gives me a spark www.petfinder.com/petdetail/19417421The problem is we are not in our new house yet and this dog is at a kill shelter. It breaks my heart but by the time we get the new house settled this poor girl will probably be long dead.

Hey there! She is gorgeous! Have you tried giving them a call? Or contacting a nearby rescue to see if they can get a foster for her?

I contacted the shelter to find out some more about her...you know to see if it might be worth the drive to come meet her. All they gave me is that she came in as a stray ,they think she's 5-6 yrs old and she's really sweet. I'd love to go and meet her but I'm afraid to b/c if I do with my luck she'll turn out to be a perfect fit for the family and I can't spring her with out a place to put her. Our current house is just too small. Our new house won't be ready until the end of July and suffolk animal control just won't hold her that long.
I have tried getting intouch with a few places but no one has responded yet
